The business
LH Barbershop is Leandro Herrera’s private, appointment-only studio in Paraparaumu Beach. Leandro is Colombian and has been a barber for more than thirteen years; he books every cut as a full hour in one chair. His clients already booked through Fresha, and it worked.

The challenge
Leandro is short of hours, not demand, so every step between a visitor and a booking is a cost. The website needed to show why his cut is worth its price, give local and Spanish-speaking clients what they need to decide, and then hand them to his booking system without friction.

The approach
Get out of the way. The menu is the booking menu: every service with its price, as it appears when you book, and a clear note that each cut is booked as a full hour. Every “Book a cut” opens his Fresha page in a new tab. The design argues for the price quietly — paper, ink and a single gold accent drawn from his own portraits — and the language switch is a real control, not a courtesy.

What I built
It started with research: I studied his local competitors and gathered what their customers said about each of them, so LH Barbershop could be positioned as distinct. From that came a full brand identity, with his mark carefully reconstructed and a brand book, then the design and build of a four-page bilingual website, with a headline typeface extended to carry the accents Spanish needs. Structured data, accessibility fixes, analytics and Search Console followed, with the content editable through my client portal. It launched in September 2026.
