Your information, handled with care.
Privacy.
This is how Cleland Studio handles the personal information you share through this website. I’m Joshua Cleland, and I’m responsible for it.
What I collect
When you book a Clarity Call, I collect your name, email address, mobile number and the time you choose. When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, message and phone number if you provide it. When you email me directly, I receive whatever you include in your message. The contact form also uses your network address temporarily to limit repeated submissions.
How I use it
To answer your message, arrange your call, send your calendar invitation with its Google Meet link and a confirmation email, and follow up our conversation. Booking or sending a message through this website doesn’t sign you up for text messages or a mailing list. I never sell your information or use it for anything unrelated.
Who handles it
Bookings are kept in the studio’s own booking and client records, which run on Supabase. Invitations and calls use Google Calendar and Google Meet. This website is hosted by Vercel, and contact-form messages are delivered to my inbox through Resend. These providers may store information outside New Zealand; I use them only to do what this page describes.
Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and whether booking works. It sets cookies on cleland.studio and records no names or contact details. When you book, an anonymous analytics identifier is attached to the booking so I can see which pages lead to calls. You can block analytics in your browser without affecting the site.
How long I keep it
I keep your details for as long as I need them to arrange and follow up our conversation, and to keep a record of any work we do together. After that, I delete them.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email joshua@cleland.studio and I’ll respond within 20 working days. If you’re not satisfied with my response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
